So I ran into some snags while cutting the last of my pieces for the quilt piece I'm working on. 1st of all the dark brown background fabric I chose happened to be cut on the bias, so the pieces didn't have good straight edges and 90 degree corners when I cut them. Then when I placed the pieces together, I realized the dark brown pattern was TOO much. It really distracts from the stars I'm trying to make. So I guess it's back to square 1 for the background pieces, maybe I can find a dark colored fabric without print.
